Badtz-O-Lantern

I thought I'd get something to decorate my office for the Halloween season, so when I saw some cheap little mini pumpkins at Safeway it seemed that one of them would be just the thing.

But I didn't really know what to do with it. I considered carving it, but that usually ends up getting yucky after a week or so. Marking a face on it seemed a better idea. But what kind of face?

I sat and looked at it for awhile until it became obvious. It was a nearly perfect canvas for the face of one of my all-time favorite characters, Bad Badtz Maru!

Behold, the Badtz-O-Lantern.
